Speedboat Transfer — Terms of Service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms form the agreement between you and us when you book a transfer. Please read them before you pay: by booking you accept them.
1. Who we are
Imperial Charter Yachting Services L.L.C., a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trade licence No. 960574 ("we", "us"). Contact details are shown in the app and on our website.
2. What we provide
A private transfer by motor yacht on the waters of the Emirate of Dubai, between a pick-up point and a drop-off point, operated by us with our own licensed master and crew. The craft is named to you at booking. A transfer is a private hire for you and your named party; it is not a scheduled or shared service, and we do not sell individual seats.
3. Booking, price and payment
The price is charged by the hour, with a minimum of one hour. The price shown to you includes VAT. Payment in full is taken when you book, by card or wallet through our payment provider. Your booking exists only once you receive our confirmation; a payment authorisation on its own is not a confirmed booking.
We accept a booking only where we hold every licence, permit and approval required for that particular trip, and where the craft's licence and insurance are valid for it. If any of these is missing, we will not accept the booking, and any amount taken is returned to you in full.
4. Pick-up and drop-off
You tell us where you would like to be collected, and the app may ask for your location to work out whether that is possible. A pick-up point you name is a request, not a confirmed point. We confirm the point, or offer the nearest workable alternative, before the trip.
We can only embark and disembark passengers at places where this is permitted — authorised berths, marinas, landing points and designated areas. We cannot collect or land you in a restricted or prohibited area, or in a place that is unsafe in the conditions of the day, and we cannot anchor outside the areas and times allowed by the authorities. Where your point cannot be used, we will offer the nearest point that can; if you do not accept it, you may cancel and we refund you in full under clause 9.
Transfers from or to another vessel at sea are possible only where both the place and the manoeuvre are permitted and safe, and only with the master's agreement given on the day.
Unless agreed otherwise, the drop-off point is Dubai Harbour.
5. Your party and conduct on board
The maximum number of passengers is the number stated at booking, which is set by the craft's licence and cannot be exceeded for any reason. Everyone travelling must be named at booking. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and children must wear a life jacket at all times on board.
You and your party must follow the master's safety instructions, wear the safety equipment provided when instructed, and refrain from anything that endangers the craft, the people on board or others. Smoking, open flame and drug use on board are not permitted.
6. The master's authority
The master is responsible for the safety of the craft and everyone on it, and the master's decision on any matter of safety or navigation is final. The master may refuse boarding, change the route or the points, or end the trip, where this is necessary for safety, where the weather or sea state requires it, where the number of passengers or their condition would make the trip unsafe, or where instructions are not followed.
If the master ends the trip for safety or weather reasons, clause 9 applies and you are refunded accordingly. If the trip is ended because you or your party ignored safety instructions or behaved in a way that endangered people on board, we do not refund the remaining time.
7. Weather and sea state
We watch the forecast and the sea state and will tell you as soon as we know that a trip cannot run or must be shortened. Weather is not a reason for us to keep your money: see clause 9.
8. Responsibility
We are responsible for operating the craft with proper care, with a licensed master, valid craft licence and valid insurance including passenger liability cover.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of the United Arab Emirates. Subject to that, our liability arising out of a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.
You are responsible for your own belongings on board; we ask you to keep valuables with you and we do not insure them. You are responsible for loss or damage you or your party cause to the craft deliberately, or by ignoring the master's instructions.
9. Cancellation and refunds
a. If we cannot run your booking. If we cancel — because the craft is unavailable, because of weather or sea state, or for any safety or regulatory reason — you choose between a full refund of everything you paid, or a new date and time of your choice, subject to availability. The choice is yours; we will not give you a voucher or a credit instead of a refund you have not asked for.
b. If your trip is cut short after it begins, for any reason on our side including weather or safety: ended within the first 30 minutes — full refund; ended after 30 minutes — you pay only for the time used, counted in 15-minute units and rounded down in your favour, and we refund the balance. The one-hour minimum does not apply when it is we who end the trip.
c. If you cancel. More than 48 hours before the start — full refund. Between 24 and 48 hours — 50% refund. Less than 24 hours, or no-show — no refund. If we are able to re-sell your slot, we refund you in full, whenever you cancelled.
d. If you are late. Your booking starts at the time booked. We wait 15 minutes; time beyond that is taken from the hours you booked. If you have not arrived within 30 minutes, the booking is treated as a no-show.
e. How and when we refund. Refunds go to the card or wallet you paid with. We issue the refund within 2 business days of the cancellation; your bank normally shows it within 5 to 10 business days. We charge no fee for making a refund.
10. Your information
We use the details you give us, and the location you share, only to arrange and run your transfer, to meet our legal and safety obligations, and to keep the records the authorities require. We do not sell your data. Our privacy notice in the app explains what we keep and for how long.
11. These terms
The terms shown to you when you book are the terms of your booking. We may change these terms for future bookings; a change never applies to a booking already confirmed.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. Nothing in them takes away any right you have under UAE consumer protection law.
